Las canciones más tristes de los seres humanos se producen cuando están colgados en la cuerda del tiempo, entre el suelo y el aire, entre el ayer y el hoy, con una fría sonrisa en la cara y con una mente angustiada por contemplar los hechos que sucedieron en el pasado y por el temor de esperarlos en los próximos eventos que sucederán en el futuro.

Samad Ghorbanzadeh es un fotógrafo iraní cuya obra se basa principalmente en escenas surrealistas en blanco y negro que parecen sueños o más bien pesadillas. Comenzó con la fotografía en 2006 y estudió Graphics en la Universidad Ferdowsi de Mashhad.

A menudo representa paisajes interminables y abiertos que son, probablemente, los que rodean su hogar. Misteriosas y escalofriantes, sus fascinantes imágenes provocan pensamientos y auto-reflexión. Con series como Fictional Reality, Daily Dream and Gray Nightmares, el trabajo de Samad Ghorbanzadeh es muy introspectivo. A menudo, los rostros de sus sujetos están ocultos, lo que permite al observador superponer su propia cara en ellos.
Sus paisajes en blanco y negro parecen extrañamente tranquilos en el exterior, pero el espectador obtiene la clara sensación de que un problema está al acecho constantemente a la vuelta de la esquina, y que una pesadilla está a punto de comenzar. Hay un montón de imágenes siniestras en sus series, muñecas rotas inertes en el suelo, casas abandonadas,huevos rotos de gran tamaño, siluetas de mujeres y hombres como posibles autores de un crimen sin nombre, o como fantasmas.
Realiza exposiciones de fotografía en Irán y en los Estados unidos, donde es bastante conocido. Compite en salones de fotografía artística donde ha consiguido numerosos premios, como los siguientes:
